The ResolutionMD® team will be attending the Radiological Society of North America’s annual meeting, RSNA2021, from November 28 to December 2. RSNA’s goal is to redefine radiology, and we’re excited to play our part in that with our latest 8.1 release of ResolutionMD®.
As populations age and the number of cancer survivors grows, the demand for reliable and efficient radiology solutions increases as well. This calls for solutions that make it easier for radiology professionals to work from anywhere, collaborate with colleagues, and diagnose patients. ResMD 8.1 is helping make this possible by improving how healthcare professionals view, use, and share medical images.
If you’ll be at RSNA2021, and you’re interested in learning more about how ResMD 8.1 is supporting the future of radiology, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and book a time to meet.
Here are some of the most exciting highlights from our latest release:
Mammo Tomosynthesis support
The huge file sizes associated with these studies have been a challenge for all parts of the medical imaging industry and ResMD 8.1 has new developments to deliver these images to end users in a timely and usable manner.
New patient-centric searching
Our latest release reduces the friction of finding patient information by allowing clinicians to perform searches at the patient level.
ResMD 8.1 now supports the Nvidia Tesla T4 GPU, offering greater performance and supporting more machine types in the various cloud providers, as well as support for Red Hat 8.4. We’ve also added Frame-by-Frame loading support. In addition, the ResolutionMD iOS app is now supported on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, as well as validated on iPhone 13 / iPhone 13 Pro as part of our ongoing effort to ensure compatibility with new operating systems and devices.
Security is the top priority when deploying our ResMD solution, and we ensure each release accounts for the latest vulnerabilities. In ResMD 8.1, we’ve added support for the latest standards in encryption and browser safeguards. We’ve also made many under-the-hood improvements to harden security.
New Series Navigation workflow tools
We’ve made it easier than ever to progress through available series. While viewing a series, a forward arrow will allow the clinician to view the next unviewed series in the available view ports. We’ve also enhanced toolbar groupings on smaller screens to provide clinicians easier and quicker access to the most commonly used tools on mobile devices.
3rd party authentication services now integrated
Third-party authentication services using OAuth2/OpenID are now supported, meaning services such as Okta, Google, and others can be integrated into ResMD 8.1.
